About Our Head Guide: Michael Healy
I've been fishing since before I could properly talk. Having been born into a fishing family I grew up dreaming to find a way to make a living sharing my passion and fishing. I've fished in some of the most amazing places all throughout the country but I wouldn't compare them to what Oswego County has to offer. I have over 20 years fishing experience which aids me in guiding. I'm a young and hungry guide that will absolutely do everything I can to help you land the trophy of a lifetime.
About Our Trips
First and foremost, our trips are catered to our clients and making sure they have the best experience possible. Within reason all of our trips are customizable to meet your expectations. We follow the fish daily and have no problem completely changing the plans for the trip the night before if we believe it will make you more successful. Our clients will vouch for this; there is no length we won’t go to do everything in our power to ensure our clients success and that they have the best experience possible. As far as the tributaries go; fishing on the Salmon & Oswego Rivers is truly an experience; from the variety and size of fish you can catch to fishing with the diverse crowds of other fishermen trying to land a trophy fish. With great knowledge of the tributaries & lakes we guide by drift boat, on foot, or our 18.5’ Lowe Deep-V, we use a variety of tactics from fly fishing to centerpinning to using conventional spinning gear and more. If you wish to learn how to fly fish or centerpin we will teach you. We supply all fishing rods and tackle you need to be successful on the water. Our goal is to share our life long passion with our clients and educate them about our fisheries and fishing techniques so they can leave with more than just some fish. The majority of our fishing is rod in hand and up to our ability to teach you to successfully catch your fish by your means, that you yourself has earned… Just as fishing should be. So be prepared to fish hard because trophy fish aren't always easy to catch.
