Salmon River Trips:

            Our trips on the world famous Salmon river include drift boat trips A.K.A float trips. Our Hyde drift boats seat up to 3 anglers, larger groups will be split up among our other boats. We also offer walk and wade trips as well which are at times more effective especially for locking down a key spot on the river and is perfect for large groups. During these trips we target King salmon, Coho salmon, Steelhead, and Brown trout. For these species in the river we fly fish, float fish or bottom bounce with spinning rods, swing flies, and run plugs. 

            Early salmon season (i.e. September) unless requested otherwise we mainly fish the Salmon River Estuary until more fish move up river. These trips can honestly be more exciting than the river with times where we can't even get 3 rods in the water for hours. Plus you get to spend some time fishing for salmon away from the crowded river and also watch some awesome acrobatics from the salmon getting ready to run the river. This trip provides the opportunity at fresher fish with sweeter meat that are powered up, not beat up and tired from swimming up the river. So be prepared for sizzling drags and more intense battles! 

Oswego River Trips:       

            Our trips on the Oswego river include wading trips up at the dam, wall trips below the dam along the river which do not require waders, and drift boat trips which includes trolling or casting in the harbor and anchoring up in the lower river plugging or float fishing in the current. 

Salmon River Trips:

            Our trips on the world famous Salmon river when targeting Steelhead take place primarily via drift boat A.K.A float trips. Our Hyde drift boats seat up to 3 anglers, larger groups are welcome and will be split up in seperate boats. We also offer walk and wade trips as well which allow you to learn how to fish the river by yourself. During these trips we primarily target Steelhead and Brown trout. Brown trout are more common between mid October and December but still get caught throughout the steelhead season. For these species we float fish with centerpins or spinning rods, fly fish, spey fish, and run plugs. 

Oswego River Trips:  

            Our trips on the Oswego river include wading trips, wall trips below the dam along the river which do not require waders, and drift boat trips which includes float fishing and plugging on the lower river. 

Other Options:

Along with the rivers, when conditions permit it we also hit the smaller tributaries between Sandy Creek, NY and Rochester, NY. Timing is everything when hitting these tributaries with our success dependent on a variety of factors so local knowledge is key. When the fishing is good you will have a day like no other catching many trophy sized Brown & Rainbow trout as well as steelhead. These trips are offered as upgrades to our pre-booked Steelhead clients as conditions vary daily and fishing can't be predicted in advance.
